Attaching Files

When you attach an image or document to the chat, the assistant reads its contents and answers accordingly.

  1. Choose a file using the clip (📎) button in the input field, or drag and drop a file onto the input field.
  2. Wait for the upload to finish, then type your question and send it. (You can’t send a message while an upload is in progress.)

For example, attach an image and ask “Describe the mood of this product,” or attach a document and ask “Summarize this in three lines.”

  • Images: JPG / PNG / WebP — the assistant can look at them and describe or verify their contents.
  • Documents: PDF / DOCX / Markdown / text / CSV — the assistant can read them to summarize or extract information.

For long documents, the assistant reads the relevant sections as needed. Asking specifically, such as “What are the key points on page 3?”, improves accuracy.

  • Up to 10MB per file.
  • Unsupported formats (such as zip files or executables) can’t be attached.
  • Attached files are automatically deleted after a set period (about 14 days).

The contents of attached files are used to generate responses. Please be careful when handling files that contain personal information. For details, review your store’s terms of service and privacy policy.
