Choosing a Model
You can choose the AI model the assistant uses for each conversation, switching between a standard model and a higher-performance one as needed.
How to choose
Section titled “How to choose”Pick from the dropdown at the top left of the screen (the unlabeled selector).
- Auto (recommended) — Let the system decide. This is enough for everyday use.
- Model names — The models your administrator has enabled.
How switching behaves
Section titled “How switching behaves”- Your choice is remembered for that conversation and applies from the next message.
- Switching mid-conversation does not clear the context (your earlier exchange stays).
- Starting a new conversation returns to “Auto”.
Relation to credit usage
Section titled “Relation to credit usage”Different models consume different amounts of credits per exchange — higher-performance models consume more (“Auto” runs on the recommended model).

When it isn’t shown
Section titled “When it isn’t shown”If your administrator hasn’t configured any models, the dropdown won’t appear, and the assistant runs on the default model.
